Margaret E. Harris of Mt. Ephraim

MOUNT EPHRAIM NJ--( 3, 2019)--When you walk through a storm hold your head up high and don’t be afraid of the dark.  Walk on with hope in your heart and you’ll never walk alone. The Lord had promised that he would walk alongside 6505803_fbs-1us.  At the end of the storm is a golden sky.  On Thursday, August 1, , 2019 the Lord walked alongside Margaret “Peg” Harris (nee Nieman) and swept her off her footprints in the sand and carried her home.

Eternity begins and ends with the ocean’s tides.  Margaret’s eternity began in Philadelphia where she was born and spent her entire life in Mount Ephraim, New Jersey.  She was a congregant of St. Joachim’s Parish in Bellmawr.  Margaret will be fondly remembered as a beautiful wife, an amazing and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.  These memories will linger on after the footprints she left in the sand are gone.  One gift above all others that God gives us to reassure, one that knows no time and no place and that gold cannot measure is the precious, tender gift of life.  Margaret had generously given a long-lasting legacy, the gift of life.

Love me tender, love me sweet, you have made my life complete and I love you so.  Margaret now is reunited with her parents, and three brothers and two sisters.  Margaret rejoins her beloved late husband of 64 years Hanlon Harris, Jr.  and leaves to cherish her memory, her son Hanlon Harris, III and his wife Christine (nee Bock-Bunting).  Loving grandchildren, Stacey and Paul Gee of Chicago, IL, Hanlon, IV and Karen Harris (nee Bennett) of Mount Ephraim. Joshua Harris of Woodbury, Shawn Harris of Blackwood, Daniel and Laura Stinger of Mount Ephraim and James Bunting Jr. of Lindenwold.  Devoted Great Grandmother to Jude Gee, Payton Harris, Eden Harris, Tessa Harris, Hanlon Harris V, Zion Harris, Levi Harris, Daniel Stinger Jr., Devon Stinger, Lucas Stinger and Isaiah Stinger.

Let’s all remember Margaret with her famous conversation ending expression of “Toodles”
