Book & Coaching Service Aims to Help Students Prepare for College/the Workforce

(Gloucestercitynews.net)--To the Next Step, a book and an educational and coaching company, is aimed at helping high school and college students prepare for Screen Shot 2019-07-21 at 12.12.15college and careers.

Kyle Grappone, founder of the To the Next Step coaching firm and author of a book by the same name, says his goal is to provide students with the tools they need to succeed in the real world.

Grappone says, “I want students to understand how much time, energy, and resources goes into your full-time job. I want them to use that as a wakeup call, take control of their future, and discover a career path that will lead to a life of satisfaction and fulfillment.”  He adds, “I believe every student has a type of person they want to become. If we can motivate them to understand the importance of discovering that person at a young age, we can set them up for tremendous success when they enter the real world. At the end of the day, I want less people being miserable in careers they hate, and more people coming home from work feeling accomplished and satisfied.”

To The Next Step offers an array of services for high school and college students, including: personal student success coaching, on-demand courses, live classroom classes, keynote speeches to large groups, classroom workshops to small groups and self-help books. The services are designed to help young people tackle challenging situations, such as discovering their passions, the college selection process, choosing a major, creating good study habits, developing a network, and applying for jobs.

The goals of To the Next Step are to prepare students for college and the real world, to care more about their educational and career choices, and to be motivated to take advantage of the opportunities education gives them. Another goal is to create better career futures for students by giving them the tools they need to find jobs they love.

According to Grappone, too many students graduate college without knowing what the real world is like. His book and coaching services seek to create a world where people don’t hate their jobs and where they can become the best possible version of themselves.

Kyle Grappone, Founder of To the Next Step

Kyle Grappone is the founder of To the Next Step, an educational services company that prepares students for the next steps in their lives, including college and entering the workforce and the real world that awaits them. His organization accomplishes these goals through an array of services, including: motivational speaking keynotes, group workshops, self-help books, student success coaching, on-demand courses, live online classes, and various free resources.

Grappone founded this organization after working and living in the aforementioned “real world” for nearly ten years. A few years after graduating, he began to notice that the majority of his co-workers seemed to dislike their jobs and worse, were dissatisfied with the type of person they had become and the life they were living. He began to dig deeper and discovered that one of the main reasons for the issue was because these graduates were not prepared for what was coming after high school and college. They did not take the time to research and prepare for their futures. Instead, they adopted a “figure it out later” attitude, and when later arrived, they were thrown into a world they knew nothing about, forced to take a job they did not want and ended up living a life they never intended on living.

The main message and purpose of To the Next Step is to help students understand the importance of preparing for the future, to inspire them to think differently about their education and answer the question, “What type of person do you want to become?” This change in mindset, combined with the various services offered, Grappone is confident that students will move into the next phase of their life with a clear picture of where they are going, who they want to become, and what type of impact they want to have on their community and the world around them.
