Alleged Pennsauken Bank Robber Arrested

PENNSAUKEN, NJ - (Gloucestercitynews.net)--The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the Pennsauken Police Department reported a bank robber was charged today in connection with a robbery at a bank.
The suspect, William Tomlin, 55, of Pennsauken, was charged with robbing the Santander Bank located at 5714 Westfield Avenue in Pennsauken at approximately 4:40 pm on Friday, July 26, 2019.
Tomlin entered the bank and presented a note demanding money from a teller. He received an undisclosed amount of cash then fled the scene. No one was injured.
Tomlin is charged with second-degree robbery.
Tomlin was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a pretrial detention hearing. Under Criminal Justice Reform rules, the court may order he be detained or released with conditions.
All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
