Thousands of New Jersey Players Win Prizes

TRENTON (June 6, 2019) – The Powerball jackpot has rolled to $53 million! Although no one won the jackpot in the June 5th drawing, 25,220 New Jersey players took home an estimated $143,151 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300, according to Lottery Acting Executive Director James Carey.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, June 5th drawing were: 17, 23, 28, 34 and 38. The Red Power Ball number was 08. The Multiplier number was 03.

“Congratulations to all of the lottery players who purchased winning tickets and to the retailers that sold them,” said Carey. “I’d like to remind players to purchase their Powerball tickets with a winning attitude and add Power Play to the ticket purchase. Power Play doubles the second prize from one million dollars to two million dollars and multiplies all of the seven lower prize sets available in the game by the number drawn that evening. The jackpot prize is not multiplied.” The Powerball jackpot rolls to $53,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, June 8th at 10:59 pm.
