One $50,000 and Six $10,000 Winning Tickets Sold

TRENTON ( 22, 2019) – James Carey, New Jersey Lottery acting executive director, announced that there were seven third-tier prizewinning tickets sold for the Tuesday, May 21st drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize. One of those tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $50,000. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • Burlington County ($50,000): 7-Eleven #10969, 191 Mill St., Mount Holly;

  • Gloucester County ($10,000): Swedesboro Shell, 1111 Route 322, Swedesboro;

  • Middlesex County ($10,000): Stop & Shop #810, 1800 Perrineville Rd., Monroe Twp.;

  • Ocean County ($10,000): Cedar Bridge Tiger Mart, 600 Brick Blvd., Brick;

  • Somerset County ($10,000): P & M Convenience Store, 310 W. Union Ave., Bound Brook;

  • Sussex County ($10,000): Acme #1787, 455 Route 23 North, Sussex; and

  • Union County ($10,000): Clark Lunch Box, 1074 Raritan Rd., Clark.

    The winning numbers for the Tuesday, May 21st drawing were: 10, 50, 55, 56 and 58. The Gold Mega Ball was 15, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.

    In addition, 35 other players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Four of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $2,500. Moreover, 51,857 other New Jersey players took home $242,558 in prizes ranging from $2 to $1,000, according to Carey.

    “Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” said Carey. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”


The next drawing will be held Friday, May 24th at 11:00 pm. All New Jersey Lottery Mega Millions tickets must be purchased before 10:45 pm to participate in the drawing. Mega Millions tickets cost just two dollars; by adding the Megaplier option for an extra dollar per play, players can increase their non- jackpot winnings up to five times. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 46 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
