12-Year-Old Juvenile Encounters Suspicious Vehicle in Gloucester Township

 

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ --(gloucestercitynews.net)(May 23, 2019--On Wednesday, May 22, at approximately 3:45 pm a 12-year-old female juvenile was walking her dog in the area of the 1000 Block of Cummings Avenue when she 6a00d8341bf7d953ef0154354a24bc970c-800wi (1)encountered a suspicious vehicle stop in the middle of the street. The driver called out to the juvenile asking where he was and that he was lost. When the juvenile did not respond the driver opened the door and exited holding a clipboard where he continued to try and speak with the juvenile. The male subject did not approach the juvenile, however, when he continued to try and speak with her she walked away down Highland Avenue as the vehicle possibly left on Apple or Poplar Avenue.
 
The suspicious vehicle is described as a newer white pickup truck with red and black lettering on the side and possibly yellow running lights on the front.
 
The driver is described as an older male approximately 55-65 years of age with white, shoulder length hair and medium complexion. He is believed to have been wearing black sunglasses with teeth that were spaced apart and spoke with a speech impediment as well as a stutter.
