Elizabeth R. Exley, of Langhorne

Elizabeth R. Exley entered the Lord’s kingdom on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia surrounded by her family at her bedside. She was 69. Born in Abington, Pa., she was the daughter of the late George D. and Elizabeth R. Frey. Elizabeth was a lifelong resident of Langhorne. She was a school bus driver for 25 years for Neshaminy School District. Elizabeth was very family oriented and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed crafts and was an excellent flower pot artist. She also enjoyed traveling. She enjoyed Sunday Church with her family, and had been a lifelong member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church.
Elizabeth was the beloved wife for 45 years to Bradford A. Exley, and the devoted mother of Denise George (Tom) of Gloucester City, N.J. and Bradford C. Exley (Jennifer) of Mount Ephraim, N.J. She was the loving grandmother of Oliva and Thomas George and Madison and Bradford Exley, and is also survived by her sister, Georgiana Glaeser (Harry) of Ivyland, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 65 E. Street Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053, where her funeral service will begin at 8 p.m. Elizabeth’s interment will be at 10:30 a.m. (assemble no later than 10:15 a.m.) at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church. Condolences and memories may be expressed at the funeral home’s web site below.
