Skyrocketing to popularity in the 1970s, the Disco sound ascended out of Manhattan’s discotheque scene, combining pop, funk, R&B, and synthesizers with powerhouse singers to create the dance soundtrack for a generation.

Disco Live is a highly entertaining theatrical production that ignites images and memories of a dance floor musical-era gone by, when the music, lyrics, and driving beats electrified a generation,” said producer Allen Valentine.

Disco Live features the music of The Bee Gees, Donna Summer, Michael Jackson, Gloria Gaynor, KC and the Sunshine Band, Anita Ward, ABBA, Barry White, Earth, Wind, and Fire, plus many more, and will transport those who witnessed it, back to the moment when they first heard these songs on the dance floor of their popular discotheques.

Disco Live is produced by Allen Valentine, who also brought last summer’s hit Motor City Live to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, choreographed by Jill Reed and Linda Voermans is the production manager.
