Southern NJ Development Council hosts Public Policy Breakfast with guest speaker



(Deptford, NJ) – Gloucester County Freeholders Deputy Director Frank J. DiMarco and Freeholders Heather Simmons and Jim Jefferson attended the Southern New Jersey Development Council Public Policy Breakfast on Monday, January 28 at Adelphia's Restaurant in Deptford. Congressman Donald Norcross was the keynote speaker at the event that more than 150 South Jersey business leaders attended. 

Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said, "Gloucester County has leaders fighting for the economic success of our residents at all levels of governments. Congressman Norcross addressed the government shutdown and the impacts the aftermath will have on South Jersey, keeping business leaders in the loop."

Freeholder Heather Simmons, Liaison to the Department of Economic Development said, “Business leaders who attend the Public Policy Speakers series are all committed to seeing South Jersey grow economically. They are focused on the future of education and workforce development as well as challenges related to quality and affordable healthcare. We are fortunate to have Congressman Norcross representing our perspectives in these areas in Washington.”
