PATCO Celebrates 50 Years of Service

CAMDEN CITY, NJ --(CNBNewsnet)--PATCO celebrated its 50th anniversary on February 15th with a public event at Woodcrest Station. The festivities marked PATCO's first trip from Lindenwold, New Jersey to Center City Philadelphia on February 15, 1969.
Local officials, as well as General Manger John Rink, remarked on the extraordinary transformation the train line has made over the past 50 years. Attendees were greeted with commemorative timetables from 1969, a live DJ, cookies, and even a PATCO birthday cake.
PATCO will continue to celebrate its milestone with smaller monthly events at different stations throughout the year.
