Deptford, N.J. --William Lee Corsey II, 53, of Deptford, NJ died on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018. He was born on Sept. 12, 1965, to his parents, William Lee Corsey and Monica McKnight. He was adopted and raised by his grandparents, Wallace and Helen Corsey.
William graduated in 1983 from Deptford Township High School in Deptford, NJ. Soon after, he went to work as a painter, wood worker, and construction worker. For the duration of his career, he spent his time working for the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT). He also volunteered as a firefighter with Helping Hand Fire Company. Billy had numerous hobbies such as ping-pong, softball, bowling and golfing. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Penn State, New York Yankees and NASCAR fan.
Billy (Bill Bill) is the oldest of five children. He had three brothers: Virgil, Tyee (Anna), Tymek, and two sisters, Susann and the late Tonya. Billy leaves to mourn his loving wife, Kimberly. He is also survived by his three children, Calvin William (Kate), Cherie Antoinette, and Collin Avery from a previous marriage. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Jordyn Leigh; sisters/aunts, Brenda Parker and Dr. Bernadette Corsey Graham; brothers/uncles, Wallace Jr. and Warren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will truly missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him as a beautiful, funny and loving person.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 9am-11am am at First Baptist Church of Jericho. A funeral service will be held from 11am-1pm. Interment will be private.
