We had a busy week here at the Gloucester Township Police Department 

Our week started off with the swearing in of 9 new police officers which consists of 2 trained officers and 7 new police recruits who will start the Camden County Police Academy on January 14th. 

On Wednesday, Cpl Labove attended the National Law Enforcement Day Recognition Ceremony in New York and Ptl. DiCamillo assisted with the Drivers Education class where he covered being distracted while operating a vehilcle.  Last but not least, Danel Long was sworn in as Lieutenant and Anthony Massi was officially sworn in as Sergeant.  

On Thursday,  Employees wore blue to spread awareness for National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. . If you are a victim of human trafficking or have info about potential trafficking, contact the National Human Trafficking 888-373-7888 or 911  The Gloucester Township/ Blackwood Kiwanis Club dropped off a pretzel tray and card to show their appreciation for National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
