Dennis F. Staas, on January 5, 2019, of Voorhees. Age 57. Beloved husband of Julia J. (nee Simpson) of 23 years. Devoted father of Victoria S. Staas. Loving son of Fred and Joan (nee McCaughrean) Staas. Dear son-in-law of Rev. George and Martha (nee Clark) Simpson. Special nephew of John McCaughrean (Sandra), Ronald McCaughrean (Margaret), and Lois Staas. Also survived by sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, niece, nephews, and cousins.
Dennis was a graduate of Temple University with a degree in Marketing and Communications. His passion was for music. He was a composer and musician mastering multiple instruments including piano, organ, guitar, bass, and drums. Dennis was a member of the Grammys Recording Academy Philadelphia Chapter. Dennis also loved cars, trains, and motorcycles. Many memories were made with his friends racing dirt bikes, riding Harleys, and restoring cars. He loved the beach and spent many vacations at the Jersey shore. Dennis loved animals too. Dogs in particular, were truly his best friends.
There will be a viewing from 9am to 10:45am Friday morning January 11, 2019 at Haddonfield United Methodist Church 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield, NJ 08033. Funeral Service 11am at the church. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville.
