WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (December 11, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)--Representatives from the South Jersey-based Bill Bottino Cancer Foundation (BBCF) held a check presentation ceremony recently at Bottino’s ShopRite store in Vineland to donate $120,000 to two area healthcare care providers of cancer treatment, including the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center – Washington Township.

The $120,000 donation -- $60,000 to each organization – was raised during this year’s annual Bottino fundraising event, including the popular Bill Bottino Cancer Foundation’s Golf Tournament. Robert Davis, Jefferson (NJ) VP of Product Lines, noted that the donation would go directly toward helping cancer patients with financial concerns: “A cancer diagnosis can cause catastrophic financial devastation, which leads to enormous stress for patients. The Patient Assistance Fund has assisted our patients with things such as rent, utility bills, home repairs, and other essential non-medical bills. We at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center - Washington Township are extremely grateful to the Bill Bottino Cancer Foundation for its  generosity.”

Shown at the check presentation event are, from left: Jefferson Health – New Jersey Special Events Coordinator Jennifer Baiada; Assistant Director of Donor Relations Joanne Sabatini; VP of Product Lines Rob Davis; and from the Bill Bottino Cancer Foundation: Bill Bottino Jr., Jim Bottino, Pat Bottino, Tom Bottino, Rich Cifelli, Maria Bottino and Mark Bottino.
