Gloucester County final dates for flu clinics

(Sewell, NJ) - With the end of the year approaching and flu season peaking between December and February, residents are encouraged to take advantage of the county's free flu shot clinic before the clinics end for the year.

Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said, "By offering our clinics from September to January we ensure that all of our residents have an opportunity to keep themselves and their loved ones safe during the peak of flu season, especially with how aggressive the flu has been the past few years."



Freeholder Jim Jefferson, liaison to the Department of Health and Human Services said, “This year alone we have provided ten-thousand flu shots to our residents. Getting a flu shot is an important step in keeping our entire community safe.”

Free flu shot clinics will be available for Gloucester County residents at the Gloucester County Department of Health, 204 East Holly Ave. in Sewell on the following dates:

Wednesday, January 2
9 to 10 a.m.

Wednesday, January 9
10 to 11 a.m.

Monday, January 14
2 to 3 p.m.

Thursday, January 17
3 to 4 p.m.

Wednesday, January 23
9:30 to 11 a.m.

Monday, January 28
1 to 2 p.m.

Thursday, January 31
2 to 3 p.m.

After these dates, flu shots will need to be provided by appointment. For questions, please call the Gloucester County Department of Health at 856-218-4101.
