Obituary for Joanne Boyer

On December 4, 2018, (nee Hopkins) of Gloucester City, NJ, age 67. She was the beloved wife of the late David N. Boyer, loving mother of Daniel Monk, Jr. (Jen), Timothy Monk (Eileen), James Monk (Renee), Denise Monk (Mark), Paula Abate and dear sister of Michael Hopkins (Vickie) and the late Joseph Hopkins (Phyllis). She is also survived by 16 dear grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and her large extended family. Joanne enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed country music, especially Willie Nelson.
 
Funeral services under the direction of the Etherington-Creran Funeral Home, 700 Powell Street, were held at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 741 Division St., Gloucester City, NJ.  Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Gloucester City, NJ.
 

Obituary for David Nelson Boyer

On December 3, 2018, of Gloucester City, NJ, age 70. He was the beloved husband of the late Joanne (nee Hopkins), loving father of Daniel Monk, Jr. (Jen), Timothy Monk (Eileen), James Monk (Renee), Denise Monk (Mark) and Paula Abate. He is also survived by 16 dear grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and his large extended family. David was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. He was an outdoor man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, scuba diving, and shooting.
