WHAT:                The Kimmel Center is hosting its 14th annual New Year’s Day Celebration, with FREE family fun all day. Attendees are invited to enjoy giveaways, hot chocolate, a special The Lightning Thief themed scavenger hunt, performances, and views of the Mummers Parade on Broad Street. Garces Events will once again host its ticketed Broad Street Brunch on the Kimmel Center Tier 2 balcony overlooking the parade route.

DETAILS:             The New Year’s Day celebration will include:

  • The Kimmel Center’s Resolution Wall, where guests are invited to record their 2019 New Year’s resolutions
  • FREE hot chocolate lounge with add-on toppings, hosted by Garces Events
  • Broadway Philadelphia’s The Lightning Thief themed activities, including: “Poseidon’s Poison” cocktail available at the Commonwealth Plaza Encore Bar and FREE trident scavenger hunt
  • FREE family-friendly fun including face painting, roaming jugglers, hula hooping by J-Hoop, ticket giveaways, a “prize” wheel, and more!

 

Garces Events will host the ticketed “Broad Street Bash” brunch on the Tier 2 balcony, with unlimited food and drink from 11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., changing to a cash bar beginning at 3:30 p.m. Broad Street Bash tickets available for purchase at www.kimmelcenter.org.
