WinterFest Ice Skating at Cooper River

 

Cooper River Park has once again transformed into a winter wonderland with tasty treats, and 6a00d8341bf7d953ef017c32c6a3f9970b-200wifamily fun! WinterFest Ice Skating at Cooper River is open Thursday – Sunday from November 30th until February 18, 2019. WinterFest Ice Skating at Cooper River is presented by the Camden County Board of Freeholder and TD Bank.

New this year!  WinterFest will include more family fun with arcade games in the heated tent and outdoor games for families to enjoy when they are off the ice.

Grand Opening Weekend: November 30 – December 2

Visit Camden County’s WinterFest at its new location on Friday, November 30th with a tree lighting ceremony, amusement rides, carolers, give-a-ways and more!  Grand Opening Weekend is November 30th through December 2nd.

Free parking is available in parking lots on either side of the ice rink and on North Park Drive. 

 

Party Package

WinterFest is the perfect place to hold a fun and unique birthday party! The birthday package is $150 on weekdays and $200 on weekends and includes:

  • Skate admission and skate rental for up to 15 participants
  • Choice of hot dog, pizza slice, or burger with chips and a drink for each participant
  • 1 free return admission for the birthday person
  • Setup and cleanup • Additional participants are $10 each

Skating Lessons

Winter Fest will hold Skating Lessons for people of all ages and skill level. Lessons are taught by our Professional Skating Instructor, Jacqueline Barr. Our Skating Sessions & Fees include: 30 Minute Lesson with our Instructor, Followed by 30 Minutes of Practice and Skate Rental for a total of 1 hour on the Ice each week. Classes are held on Sunday from 11:00-12:00. See Below for Dates and Fees.

Our Skating Lesson Cost is as follows:

  • Session 1: December 2, 16, 23, 30 (*No Class December 9th)  – $100
  • Session 2: January 6, 13, 20, 27  – $100
  • Session 3: February 3, 10, 17 – $80

A waiver will be required to fill out and sign on the first day of class. Payment must be made in full on the first day of class to ensure your spot.

Attire: Warm Winter Clothes in Layers. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Coats, Hats, Gloves, Scarves, and Long Socks are encouraged. Layers are a great way to stay warm as well as Ski or Snow Pants.

Intro to Curling

JPCC would like to host Introduction-to-curling opportunities for the general public on Winterfest Ice on Saturday’s from 11:00AM – 12:00OPM. In each one hour session, JPCC volunteers will give approximately 20 people brief lessons on basic curling skills that allows them to play a 30 minute game

  • December Saturday’s 11AM-12PM
  • Curling Basics instructed by JPCC Volunteers 30 minutes
  • Live curling play guided by JPCC Volunteers 30 minutes
  • $10 per lesson
