WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ (November 7,2018)(CNBNewsnet)--Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Winslow Township Police Chief George Smith reported a fatal assault that occurred on November 4, 2018 in Winslow Township.
The Winslow Township Police responded to reports of a fight that occurred at TJ’s Grill and Liquors on Williamstown Road in Sicklerville in Winslow Township at approximately 2:30 a.m. When Police arrived, they located two injured men who were transported to Cooper University Hospital for treatment. One of the injured men, a 37-year-old Camden man, was treated and released later that day.
The second victim, Craig Toomer, 37, of Sicklerville in Winslow Township, succumbed to his injuries last night and was pronounced deceased at approximately 10:25 p.m.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
