Gloucester City – Surrounded by her loving family at home, on November 10, 2018. Age 91. (nee Gogolin). Loving and devoted wife of 60 years to the late Peter J. Prelas. Loving mother of Helen T. Gallagher (Patrick), Peter J. Prelas Jr., Deborah Schafer (James) and John A. Prelas. Cherished grandmother of Patrick, Christina, Justin, Erin, Hannah and Ted and great-grandmother of Chase, Reilly and Ever. Also survived by her devoted caregivers, niece Mary Law and nephew, Howarth Law as well as many other loving nieces and nephews and devoted friends, Sr. Christine and Sr. Nora. Predeceased by her brother John Gogolin (late Lillian), sister Winnie Flagg (late Frank) and sister Mary Law (late Howarth).

Helen was a lifelong faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Gloucester City. She worked in the cafeteria at St. Mary’s School for over 30 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday morning, Nov. 16th from 9:30 to 11:15 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM in the church. Interment New Saint Mary's Cemetery Bellmawr.
