Gloucester City Police Department Issues Parking Restrictions for Heroes 5K Run on Saturday

Three-Alarm Fire in Gloucester City; No Injuries

GLOUCESTER CITY, N.J. (October 12, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)—Gloucester City Fire Department Battalion 43828638_2086272001403377_9069293611278925824_n
504 and Squad 51 responded to the 300 unit block of Middlesex Street at 4:43 AM for a report of multiple dwellings on fire.

Upon arrival at the scene they found heavy fire in the rear of 313 and 315 Middlesex Street.  Searches were negative, crews felt with strong wind conditions.

The fire was upgraded to a third alarm.

Mutual aid departments arrived from Camden City, Westville, Bellmawr, Mount Ephraim, Haddon Heights, Audubon, Runnemede, Cherry Hill, Westmont and Oaklyn. Barrington and National Park covered the rest of the city.

The investigation continues into the cause of the fire.
