Haddon Twp.Teacher Charged with Sexual Assault

HADDON TOWNSHIP NJ (October 31,2018)(CNBNewsnet)--Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced that Brantley Cesanek, 30, of Haddon Township, Camden County NJ, was charged with multiple counts of Sexual Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Official Misconduct for sexually assaulting one of his students when she was between the ages of 16-17 years old.

An investigation was initiated by the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and Evesham Township Police Department when it was reported that Cesanek, a Latin teacher at Cherokee High School, had an ongoing sexual relationship with a student in 2016 and 2017.

According to Prosecutor Colalillo, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Haddon Township Police Department joined the investigation when they discovered the sexual assaults took place in Cesanek’s home on the 300 block of South Park Drive in Haddon Township.

Brantley Cesanek was arrested on October 30, 2018 in Haddon Township without incident. Cesanek is currently being detained at the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a pretrial detention hearing.
