GROSSMAN: American Jews need to Stop Bashing Our Friends & Supporting our Enemies

Democrats And Media Target Trump For Pittsburgh Massacre

Somers Point, NJ, October 31, 2018 – Instead of joining the City of Pittsburgh and nation in Politics mourning, the far-left mainstream media and leading Democrats in Washington have put their disgraceful spin machine into high gear claiming that President Trump is somehow responsible for the deadliest anti-Semitic shooting in American history, and by doing so, only further fuel hatred and division across America.

Contrary to their claims, President Trump, who has actively supported the nation of Israel and Jewish people more than any previous American President, issued an unequivocally strong statement condemning the murders.

“All of America is in mourning over the mass murder of Jewish Americans at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.  We pray for those who perished and their loved ones, and our hearts go out to the brave police officers who sustained serious injuries. This evil anti-Semitic attack is an assault on humanity.  It will take all of us working together to extract the poison of anti-Semitism from our world.  We must unite to conquer hate,” President Trump tweeted.

Seth Grossman, the Republican candidate for Congress in NJ’s 2nd District, similarly condemned the attack, and called on his fellow Jewish Americans to renew the strength and resilience of previous generations who came to this country to escape persecution.

“Jews in America today are in danger of being beaten and killed for just being Jews just like my grandparents when they lived in Eastern Europe more than 100 years ago.   That is because Democrats have fundamentally changed America during the past 30 years.  During these years, radical leftists took control of our media, public schools, colleges, pop culture and the Democratic Party.  They then used them to preach a dangerous doctrine that has divided America into groups who are always angry at each other,” Grossman said.  “They falsely tell everyone who faces failure or hardship that members of some other ‘privileged’ group are responsible.  This is why Jews in America are now in such a dangerous position.  When people start blaming others for their problems, the first people they think of are Jews.”

Grossman explained that the “Fake News Media” is giving the false impression that there were no problems for Jews in America until the Tea Party and President Trump came along, and claim that a few of Trump’s off-the-cuff quips about people being harassed needing to defend themselves helped incite the murders in Pittsburgh.  They also falsely accuse Trump supporters for instigating hate and violence in America today, while giving a pass to leading Democrat Senators and Congressmen openly calling for hostility against Republicans and anyone else who disagrees with them.

“It is not surprising that most anti-Semitism in America today is coming from Democrats.  Louis Farrakhan and his supporters falsely blame Jews for every problem in the black community.  Radical leftists on college campuses falsely blame Israel for every problem in the Middle East.  Democrats embrace both of those groups,” Grossman said.

“Meanwhile the most reliable friends and supporters of Jews and Israel are President Trump, his supporters and evangelical Christians.  American Jews have to stop blindly believing and reciting the propaganda talking points of Democratic Party politicians.  They should think carefully about what they do and say.  It is stupid and dangerous for Jewish leaders to systematically attack our friends and support our adversaries.  If we do that, we should not blame Trump when we have more enemies and fewer friends.”

Seth Grossman and Jeff Van Drew are facing off in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District.  The seat, which has been represented by retiring U.S. Rep. Frank LoBiondo for 24 years, includes the counties of Cape May, Atlantic, Cumberland and Salem and parts of Camden, Gloucester, Burlington and Ocean counties.  Donald Trump won the district by five points in the 2016 election.  For additional information log onto
