MONTGOMERY, N.J., August 30, 2018 – Festival food favorites like kettle corn and funnel cake, as well as games of chance, local bands and artisans, and other amusements will thrill attendees at the fourth annual Montgomery FunFest on Sunday, September 9. The community festival is free at the Princeton Airport from 12-5 p.m. More than 10,000 people are expected to attend.

The event kicks off in the Welcome Tent at 11:45 a.m. with performances by the Montgomery High School band and Dance Team. Organizers anticipate more than 130 vendors, representing local businesses, artists, non-profit organizations, food vendors, children’s amusement rides and games. Proceeds benefit the Montgomery Business Association MHS Senior Scholarship Fund.

“Montgomery FunFest is a dynamic event that brings the entire community together for a great day of family, food, fun and live entertainment,” said Jean Robinson, immediate past president of the MBA, FunFest Chair and executive director of Volition Wellness Solutions, an event sponsor. “Thanks to the strong support of our local businesses, organizations, school clubs and sports organizations, FunFest has become a town tradition not to be missed.”

The MBA uses profits from FunFest to award $1000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Montgomery High School. The 2018 recipients are: Nirali Patel, Steven Tattoli, Johnny Shea, Grant Papa, and Arpan Chavan.

This year’s featured amusements include inflatable obstacle courses, an inflatable Twister, Human Bowling, a rock climbing wall and the Double High Striker where participants can “test their strength.” All day amusement wristbands are $30 for one, $55 for two and $100 for four. FunFest 2016 T-Shirts designed by MHS student Nasya Hristov will be available for $15.

In addition to a variety of demonstrations by community businesses, FunFest will feature live music from local bands Flip Daddy, Fitz and the Cats, and GoodWorks. The Radio 101.5 Van will also be on site to entertain from 12-2 p.m.

VIP Parking will be sold for $15 cash the day of the event and $5 parking is available in the grass on Airpark Road. Free parking is available across the street from the Princeton Airport at the Wall Street Office Park. Shuttle Buses will ferry attendees from the FREE parking area to the Welcome Tent.

Handicap Parking is limited and only available to those with a handicap placard who are physically unable to take the Shuttle Bus.
