I have attached some photos of the deplorable road conditions taken on South Broadway when you enter Gloucester City from Brooklawn and of Jersey Avenue from South Broadway to King Street.

These streets are so bad that if you hit some of the bumps doing the speed limit it will throw you right out of your vehicle's seat.  I can't imagine what it does to the front end of your car/truck. Year in and year out these conditions have been allowed to exist.  It is a disgrace.

I give the person a thumbs up for the nice job he/she did in painting the new yellow lines on the street. However, painting dividing lines in the street before you repair the potholes is just plain stupid.

I have been told that the city doesn't have the money to repair these two streets and others because it is spending the money on high wages for the city employees, their 401k benefits,  their sick days, their personal days, and their vacation days.

It is obvious those in charge just don't care about repairing our streets. Besides the streets I mention there are many more in this little town of two square miles that need repair.

I don't give a damm about who is responsible for repairing these highways. It doesn't make a difference to me if the city, county or state repair these terrible roads. Just repair them!

This year's city budget is $20 million plus. Where is all that money being spent?

Not to long ago CNBNews reported that the city has nearly 150 vehicles. Why?

Instead of spending our hard earned tax dollars on buying trucks and police cars or on funding Screen Shot 2017-09-15 at 11.36.28music festivals at the park, on Irish parades and Mummers parades use that money on repairing the city's infrastructure.

These unacceptable conditions have been allowed to exist for a decade if not longer.  Where is the public outcry?  Where are the mayor and council?  Who is in charge of getting these conditions repaired?

Write your mayor and council and tell them you want your street (s) repaired. Addresses provided by CNBNewsnet
