BROOKLAWN to Host Medical Marijuana Forum Tuesday Night at Community Center

Hello,

This invitation is in response to Governor Murphy’s executive order to expand medical marijuana dispensaries in the state of New Jersey. As of August 1, 2018, a Request For Application has been issued by the state for six emergency licenses.

New Jersey has already experienced a wave of tremendous growth. To ease these growing pains, we would like to cordially invite you to the Brooklawn Community Center, 101 2nd Street, Brooklawn, NJ 08030, on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm to take part in an educational panel.

We are proud to welcome a well accomplished group of experts and panelists to join us in this important discussion about medical marijuana expanding in New Jersey.

Our guest panelists include the following:

Assistant Commissioner Jeff Brown
Medicinal Marijuana
NJ Department of Health

Deputy Speaker & Assemblyman Gordon Johnson
District 37

Bridgette Fonseca
Director of Dispensary Operations, Curaleaf NJ

Stormy Simon
Strategy Officer, MTrac
Former President, Overstock.com

Theresa Pollard, Esquire
Prosecutor, City of Orange

Christie Hanvey, RN, MSN, CARN
Director of Nursing Services Spectrum Health Care

During this time on Tuesday, September 25th, we hope to continue a discussion on how we can best serve our patients, advance operations, and build a better partnership to ensure we advance the medical cannabis industry by learning from one another. While together, we hope that our collective jurisdictions will benefit from sharing their experiences as New Jersey continues on the path to improve its Medical Cannabis program.

Please RSVP with names and titles of anyone attending from your municipality by Friday, September 21st to Mayor Theresa Branella, via email [email protected] or cell (609) 280-2597.

Thank you in advance for your consideration. We look forward to an educational and informative panel.

Best,

Theresa Branella
Mayor of Brooklawn
