Three associates of Jefferson Health in New Jersey have been named recipients of Annual Nursing Scholarships at the Magnet® designated health care organization. These associates were chosen by the Nursing Selection Committee based on their academic achievements and support of Jefferson Health’s mission, vision and valEach year, Jefferson Health in New Jersey offers various nursing scholarships: an Entry Level BSN Scholarship, open to all associates (clinical and non-clinical) aspiring to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN); the Gartzman Fund RN to BSN Scholarship; and the Leadership Scholarship, open to current BSN- and MSN-level nurses aspiring to a Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing degree (MSN or DNP). The scholarships are supported by the Gartzman family, Jefferson (NJ) associates and other generous donors.T
- Entry Level BSN scholarship of $12,000: Misty Connelly of Camden, NJ, Admissions Department at the Jefferson Health Care Center in Sewell, NJ, who is obtaining her BSN through Widener University.
- Gartzman Fund scholarship of $4,500: Lorraine (Kim) Kulikowski, RN, of Sicklerville, NJ, Assistant Nurse Manager in the ICU at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital, who is obtaining her BSN through Grand Canyon University.
- Leadership scholarship of $8,000: Ashley Shibe, BSN, RN, clinical nurse on the Surgical Unit at Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital, who is obtaining her MSN through Drexel University.
