Careless Smoking Sparks Fire in Garage And Mulch Bed, Deemed Suspicious

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ (August 27, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)--On 8/25/2018, at approximately 11:45 P.M., the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the 100 block of Gray Pebble Circle for a reported house fire.  All occupants were safely removed from the residence and the fire was quickly extinguished by the Erial Fire Department (Station 86).  The fire was deemed non suspicious and caused by careless smoking.

On 8/26/2018, at approximately 11:33 A.M., The Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the 100 block of Scenic Point Circle, Sicklerville, which is also located within the Cobblestone Development for a reported structure fire.
Upon arrival, no active fire was found.  However, officers found evidence of a fire located in a mulch bed outside the residence.  No occupants were home at the time of the fire.
This fire is deemed suspicious and remains under investigation by the Gloucester Township Police Department and the Camden County Fire Marshall.
