Victims Names of Newfield House Explosion Released by Authorities (video)

NEWFIELD NJ (July 7, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)--The two deceased  residents of a Borough of Newfield, Gloucester County NJ home destroyed in an explosion Saturday morning (7/7) have been identified as Carole Paladino (DOB  5/16/46) and John Paladino  (DOB  8/7/44), husband and wife and the only occupants of the residence at the time of the explosion.

Autopsies on the couple are scheduled for Sunday, July 8.

The cause and origin of the explosion at the 329 Oakwood Drive  residence remains under investigation by the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office and the county Fire Marshal's Office. No foul play is suspected.

Fire companies responding to the explosion and fire were Star Cross, Malaga, Forest Grove, Newfield, Franklinville, Vineland Stations 3 & 4, Willow Grove, Minatola and Collins Lake.
