U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Arrests Assault Suspect in Williamsport, PA

Williamsport, PA - Today, U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced the arrest of Jerry Grow, 42, in Williamsport, PA.
The Williamsport Police Department obtained an arrest warrant charging Grow with strangulation for an incident occurring on July 09, 2018. It is alleged that Grow was physically abusive to his victim over many hours by striking, kicking and choking his victim.
On July 19, US Marshals and members of fugitive task force located and arrested Grow without incident in the 700 block of 2nd Ave in Williamsport. Grow was turned over to local authorities pending judicial proceedings.
United States Marshal Martin J. Pane stated, “The U.S. Marshals Service and our task force partners recognize the importance of cooperation between federal, state and local police agencies – especially when searching for fugitives wanted for violent crimes. It is my sincere hope that the arrest of this dangerous fugitive brings some sense of relief to the victim.”
The USMS worked jointly in these investigations with personnel from the Williamsport Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police and the Lycoming County Sheriff’s Office.
