Traffic Accident at Route 130 & Market Street Intersection; One Person Suffered Injuries

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ (June 25, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)—Traffic at the Screen Shot 2017-09-24 at 14.8.05intersection of U.S. Route 130 and Market Street was backed up today shortly after noon following an accident involving two vehicles.

Gloucester City Police Lt. Steve Burkhardt said, "A vehicle traveling south on Route 130 tried to make a left on to Market Street from the inside lanes, cutting off a vehicle in the left lane. That vehicle was forced off the road and into the traffic standard which was broken in half. The driver of the car that was cut off sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The offending driver fled the scene. We are still working on identifying him."
