It's almost July 4th, which means it's fireworks time. The big celebration on the Waterfront will take place on Saturday, June 30th with events at the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing, SugarHouse Casino and Fishtown Hops, Independence Seaport Museum, Battleship NJ, Moshulu, and the Spirit of Philadelphia to name a few. You can also watch the big show from Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest, Spruce Street Harbor Park Sustained by Univest or the Race Street Pier. And of course, there are also tons of other great things to do all week and weekend on both sides of the river.

Wednesday, June 27: Who Got the Jazz: A Tribute to Nina Simone
Enjoy a musical tribute to the late-great Nina Simone, featuring the amazing Suzann Christine, Voss, and Seraiah Nicole at Spruce Street Harbor Park Sustained by Univest. This monthly event is part of Visit Philly Summer Sounds in the Historic District program, featuring live music through September 7, 2018, at various outdoor locations.
Thursday, June 28th: WXPN Welcomes Waterfront Sessions Featuring Ivy Sole with THEakasha
If you’re an outdoor music lover, you'll love WXPN Welcomes Waterfront Sessions. Every Thursday from June - August the park features free performances from a variety of acclaimed local talent. While you're here, enjoy a $5 Leinenkugel Summer Shandy while you relax and listen to the sounds of Ivy Sole with THEakasha.
Thursday, June 28th: Unlimited Crab Night at Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest
Enjoy unlimited Snow Crabs, Crab Corn and Red Potatoes for only $39.95. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis and dinner tickets will be sold Thursday inside the Crabshack at Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest. So come on down for the ultimate feast!

Saturday, June 30th: United States Army Band, "Pershing's Own" Concert + Wawa Welcome America Fireworks Presented by NBC Universal and Pyrotechnico
Get into the spirit of Independence Day in the city of Brotherly Love with The United States Army Band "Pershing's Own." One of the nation’s premier musical organizations returns to the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing for an evening full of rousing, patriotic music followed by the spectacular fireworks as part of Wawa Welcome America! The fireworks soundtrack will air on Real 106.1 FM and the free iHeartRadio app.
