FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP'S JADE FRANZ SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR MURDER OF NEWBORN DAUGHTER

 FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP NJ (June 22, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)--Jade Fanz  age 22, of Franklin Township was sentenced today (6/22) to eight years in New Jersey state prison  years in New Jersey state prison after pleading guilty to committing  reckless manslaughter by choking her newborn daughter until she was deceased on February 21, 2016.

 

Fanz was charged by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office after the child was found on the property of her family’s home in Franklinville on February 27, 2016.  She has been held in jail since then.

 

Fanz pleaded guilty to an accusation of second-degree manslaughter on 4/11/18.  Under terms of the plea,  Superior Court Judge Robert P. Becker said Fanz must serve 85 percent of her sentence before she is eligible for parole.
