Gloucester City Cops Busy with Traffic Accidents, Service Calls, Property/Business Checks

Crime report

 

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ (June 14, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)--Gloucester City Police between June 8 and June 13  made (31) traffic stops, (156) property/business checks and (6) school visits.  Officers made (10) arrests, responded to (6) domestic disputes and managed (225) calls for service.

In other matters, 

6/8 (5:52 am) Ptl. Greg Coxe was called to Rt. 130 at Klemm Avenue for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

6/8 (10:30 am) Ptl. Barb Kane was called to Broadway at Hudson Street for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

6/8 (4:33 pm) Captain Mike Morrell was called to the 100 block of S. Broadway for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

6/8 (9:30 pm) Ptl. Bob Saunders III was called to Rt. 130 at Klemm Avenue for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

6/9 (11:56 am) Ptl. Greg Coxe was called to the 1300 block of Market Street for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

6/10 (11:20 pm) Ptl. Joe Eller was called to Rt. 130 at Market Street for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

6/11 (8:01 am) Ptl. Ben McKinney was called to the 400 block of Market Street for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

 

6/11 (2:27 pm) Ptl. Ben McKinney responded to a residence in the 300 block of S. Broadway for a report of an overdose.  Upon arrival, the (36) year old female resident was found unconscious and not breathing.  EMS personnel administered one dose of Naloxone and Ptl. McKinney administered a second dose before the female regained consciousness.  She was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

 

6/11 (3:16 pm) Sgt. Jason Flood was handling a medical assistance call on Broadway at Market Street when he observed a tractor trailer strike the traffic signal pole, while turning off Broadway onto Market Street and leave the scene.  Ptl. Sean Gartland caught up to the truck on Market Street and the driver was charged with several traffic violations.

 

6/11 (8:00 am) A resident of the 800 block of Somerset Street reported sometime overnight, personal property was stolen from the residence by someone staying there.  The investigation is ongoing.

 

6/12 (12:18 am) A resident of the 300 block of Monmouth Street reported sometime during the previous two days, his unlocked vehicle was burglarized and personal property was stolen.  The investigation is ongoing.

 

6/12 (8:25 am) Ptl. Doug Ziegler was called to Cold Springs Drive for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

 

6/12 (10:37 am) Ptl. John Bryszewski was called to the 100 block of King Street for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

 

6/12 (7:10 am) Ptl. Sean Gartland was called to a commercial property in the 800 block of Water Street for a report of criminal mischief.  Surveillance video was obtained showing two juvenile females and one juvenile male, (ages approximately 12-13), climb over the property fence.  Once on the property, the juveniles smashed tail lights on a trailer and damaged additional property causing an estimated $200 worth of damage.  The investigation is ongoing pending identification of the juveniles.

 

6/12 (6:35 pm) Anthony F. Pettolina (26), a resident of Westville, was arrested on Passaic Street by Ptl. George Spingler on warrants from Camden City.  He was additionally charged with defiant trespass before being released on bail.

 

6/12 (8:43 pm) A traffic stop on Mercer Street at Brown Street conducted by Ptl. Mike Calzonetti and K9 Blitz resulted in the arrest of Todd E. Zane (39), a resident of the 800 block of Cumberland Street.  He was found to be a fugitive from justice wanted by the Camden County Sheriff’s Office and lodged in Camden County Jail.

 

6/13 (1:52 pm) Ptl. Shea O’Donnell responded to a residence in the 800 block of Green Street for a reported burglary.  Upon arrival, the resident reported sometime overnight, the locks and latches on two trailers and a shed on his property were vandalized in an attempt to gain entry.  The investigation is ongoing.

 

6/13 (7:40 pm) A pedestrian stop on Market Street at 7th. Street conducted by Inv. Tim Ryder and Det. Keith O’Donnell resulted in the arrest of Richard M. Antrim (40), a resident of the 600 block of Powell Street.  He was arrested on a warrant from Camden City and additionally charged with possession of CDS (heroin) and possession of a hypodermic syringe.  He was released on bail.
