Obituary: Charles M. Dilger, Sr. of Lindenwold, formerly of Bellmawr

Charles M. Dilger, Sr., on June 27, 2018, of Lindenwold; formerly of Bellmawr. Age 93. 

Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (nee Boehm). Devoted father of Claude Dilger (Cindy), Dorothea Oliveri (Anthony), Christopher Dilger (Dotti), and the late Charles Dilger, Jr. Loving grandpop of Charles III, Dustin, Colleen, Daniel, Mary, Chloe, and Luke and great grandpop of Daisy and Holly. Preceded in death by 9 siblings. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.



Mr. Dilger proudly served in the US Navy during WW II. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree and a volunteer for Helping Hands at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden. Charles was a member of 3H Senior Club, Always Young Club, St. Agnes Seniors in Blackwood, Bellmawr Seniors, and Young at Heart Seniors in Bellmawr.

There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Monday eve and from 9 to 10am Tuesday at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral Mass 10am Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Lawrence RC Church, 135 N. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold, NJ 08021.

Interment New Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
