New Outdoor Recreation Space Unveiled at Jefferson Health Behavioral Health Services in Washington Township, NJ
Washington Township, NJ (May 18, 2018) - A spacious outdoor recreation space featuring a new basketball court was officially “opened for business” at Jefferson Health Behavioral Health Services in Washington Township, NJ, on May 17th. Located at the rear of the outpatient facility - which serves both adolescents and adults struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse - the new recreation space will provide for an array of physical and recreational activities as part of treatment, including small group activities. The new, multi-purpose outdoor space was made possible by a $60,000 donation raised through key supporters, including the Jet Start, Kennedy Health Care, Investors Bank and Sumner Station foundations, all based in southern New Jersey.
Shown at the Ribbon Cutting are, from left: Donna Bennett of the Jet Start Foundation, whose late son, John E. Tindall Jr., is memorialized at the recreation space with permanent signage; Joseph W.
