BROOKLAWN NJ (MAY 30, 2018)Andrew Vail pitched a five-inning one-hitter, striking out 13 and walking one to lead second-seeded Gloucester Catholic over 7-seed Mater Dei, 14-0, in five innings, in the quarterfinal round of the South Jersey Non-Public B tournament on Tuesday in Gloucester City.

Evan Giordano hit two home runs, finishing with five RBI while Tyler Cannon went 3-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored for Gloucester Catholic, which had 12 hits as a team.

Jake McNellis hit a single and a triple, recording two RBI and three runs scored while Ryan Nutley singled twice with two RBI and two runs scored for Gloucester Catholic, which scored seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
