GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP NJ (May 31, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)--Hi Young Gardeners! It’s time to LETTUCE Garden!!!! After all this rain we have plenty of weeks to take care of so bring your gloves if you have them. We will also finish our Garden Spoon Markers, make a Children’s Garden Banner for Gloucester Township Day, and finally try some of those smoothies we have been promising!
Parents, bring a plastic bag if you would like to harvest some lettuce.
The Children’s Garden, sponsored by GTPD and the Kiwanis Club, is open to everyone! We meet every Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 at the Family Resource Center, 1324 Little Gloucester Rd, Blackwood. It is an outside event so we cancel for bad weather. Adult and teen volunteers are most appreciated. Activities are geared toward children age 5 to 11.
