(Logan Township, NJ) After weeks of rain and bad weather, the Gloucester County DREAM Park invites residents to get out to the DREAM Park and attend the upcoming June events and shows.
Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said, "The DREAM Park always has something going on. With the weather finally clear, the Board of Chosen Freeholders would like to encourage residents to take advantage of visiting the DREAM Park to enjoy events they have to offer."
All events are free to spectate and will take place on the following days:
From June 1 through June 3 the Greater Eastern Appaloosa Regional Show will take place in the DREAM Park Main Arena. There are 130 regional clubs nationwide that are officially recognized representatives of the Appaloosa Horse Club. They are groups of people who get together for the common purpose of riding and being involved with Appaloosas.
These clubs have many interests including showing, trail riding, riding in parades and participating in the many disciplines that the versatile Appaloosa horse can adapt to, whether it is cattle events, reining, cutting, jumping, trail riding or pleasure events.
From June 7 through June 10 the Chicks Quarter Horse and Palomino Show will take place in DREAM Park Main Arena. This event is a great opportunity for anyone that has a double registered Quarter Horse and Palomino. Whether you're a seasoned horse show veteran, a fan of the race track, a backyard horse enthusiast or simply someone dreaming of someday owning a horse, the event will be a promising one to attend.
On June 16 and 17 the Nine Pines Open Show will be taking place in the DREAM Park Main Arena. The Nine Pines Open Pleasure Show Series is excited to host their June Jubilee at the DREAM Park. The Open Horse Show welcomes people of all ages and horses of all breeds. Horses are not required to be registered, and participants do not need a membership with any association or club.
The All Breed Horse Show provides those seeking a fun and competitive environment with an excellent opportunity to participate in a major stock show. Classes include youth and adult divisions and feature English, Western, Trail, Equitation, Halter and Color classes.
On June 23 and 24 the Garden State Pinto Horse Association will be hosting their show in the DREAM Park Main Arena. The NJ Pinto Horse club is located in the southern part of New Jersey and has been in existence for over 20 years promoting the Pinto Horse for members and non-members alike. They offer two show weekends each year that include a full slate of classes to fit everyone’s pleasure.
On June 24, the NJ Horse Association will be in the Outside Arena of the DREAM Park. The New Jersey Horse Shows Association is dedicated to Fostering horsemanship by furthering the art of riding and promoting the welfare of horses and ponies. They are focused on generating and enhancing general public interest and participation in equestrian activities in the State of New Jersey, providing an incentive for competition through participation in the NJHSA Annual High Score Awards, and representing the exhibitor-members in those matters of concern where a forum is needed.
