Gloucester City Police Kept Busy with Vehicle Accidents, Narcotic Overdoses and Burglaries

 

  Crime report

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ (May 4, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)--The Gloucester City Police released the following crime report for the period of April 27 up until and including May 3.

4/27 (9:25 pm) Ptl. Blaise O’Donnell and K9 Demo responded to Broadway and Market Street for a report of an overdose.  Upon arrival, the (35) year old male resident of Westville was found unconscious and not breathing.  Ptl. O’Donnell administered one dose of Naloxone and EMS personnel administered a second dose before the male regained consciousness.  He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

4/27 (9:34 pm) Ptl. Greg Coxe was called to the 1300 block of Market Street for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

 

4/28 (9:40 pm) A resident of the 400 block of Powell Street reported sometime overnight, a flower pot on her walkway was broken.

 

4/28 (12:36 pm) Sgt. Bill Johnson Jr. responded to a residence on Oxford Avenue for a fight involving four people.  Upon arrival, there was no fight in progress and no further action was taken.

 

4/28 (10:00 am) A resident of 7th. Street reported her unlocked car was burglarized while parked in the 400 block of S. Broadway while she was shopping.  Jewelry and cigarettes were reported stolen and the investigation is ongoing.

 

4/28 (6:34 pm) Ptl. Barb Kane was called to Rt. 130 at Market Street for a crash involving two vehicles.  One injury was reported.

 

4/28 (9:41 pm) Ptl. Barb Kane responded to a residence in the 200 block of Somerset Street for a reported overdose.  Upon arrival, the (48) year old male resident of Clementon was found unconscious and not breathing.  Ptl. Kane administered one dose of Naloxone and EMS personnel administered a second dose before the male regained consciousness.  He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

 

4/29 (12:38 am) Ptl. Barb Kane responded to a residence on Cornell Avenue for a reported overdose.  Upon arrival, the (46) year old male resident of Glendora was found unconscious and not breathing.  Ptl. Kane administered one dose of Naloxone and EMS personnel administered two additional doses before the male regained consciousness.  He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

 

4/29 (7:21 am) A resident of the 100 block of Ellis Street reported sometime overnight, his unlocked car was burglarized and his wallet was stolen.  A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

 

4/30 (7:48 am) Cpl. Bill Lessig was called to Burlington and Somerset Streets for a crash involving one vehicle.  No injuries were reported.

 

4/30 (3:00 pm) A car stop on Burlington Street at Essex conducted by DSgt. Carl DePoder and Det. Keith O’Donnell resulted in the arrest of Melissa A. Kille (40), a resident of the 200 block of Essex Street.  She was arrested and charged with possession of CDS (heroin and crack cocaine), possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.  She was later released.

 

5/1 (7:00 am) Cpl. Bill Lessig was called to Rt. 130 at Klemm Avenue for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

 

5/1 (7:19 am) Sgt. Bill Eller was called to Rt. 130 at Klemm Avenue for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

 

5/1 (9:10 am) Sgt, Bill Eller was called to Rt. 130 at Market Street for a crash involving two vehicles.  One injury was reported.

 

5/1 (2:50 pm) Danielle M. Smulzinski (28), a resident of the 300 block of N. Burlington Street, was arrested on Broadway at Morris Street by Ptl. Sean Saunders on a warrants from Camden City.  She was later released on bail.

 

5/1 (5:35 pm) Ptl. Sean Gartland was called to Rt. 130 at Klemm Avenue for a crash involving two vehicles.  No injuries were reported.

 

5/1 (8:12 pm) A traffic stop on Burlington Street at Mercer conducted by Det. Keith O’Donnell resulted in the arrest Celena L. Bastian (38), a resident of Tuckerton.  She was arrested and charged with possession of CDS (crack cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.  She was later released.

 

5/2 (12:56 pm) Molley A. Williams (30), a resident of the 100 block of S. Burlington Street, was arrested on Broadway at Somerset Street by Inv. Tim Ryder on a warrant from Audubon.  She was lodged in Camden County Jail.

 

5/2 (2:55 pm) A traffic stop on Rt. 130 at Market Street conducted by DSgt. Carl DePoder and Det. Keith O’Donnell resulted in the arrest of the following individuals:  Wayne C. Pouls (56), a resident of Philadelphia, was arrested on a warrant from Northfield.  He was additionally charged with possession of CDS (heroin).  He was later released on bail.  Vinnae Forline (28), a resident of Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension and later released.

 

5/2 (3:33 pm) Devin M. DeDomenico (26), a resident of Bellmawr, was arrested on Collings Avenue at Essex Street for defiant trespass.  He was additionally charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe before being released.

 

5/2 (7:36 pm) Ptl. Mike Calzonetti and K9 Blitz responded to a vacant residence in the 800 block of Monmouth Street for a report of a possible burglary in progress.  Upon arrival, an (11) year old male from Camden and a (12) year old male from the 300 block of Hudson Street were locate in the rear enclosed porch of the residence.  Both juveniles were taken into custody and released to their parents pending station house adjustment.

 

5/2 (9:40 pm) Ronnie A. Smith (42), a resident of Philadelphia, was arrested on Rt. 130 at Market Street by Ptl. Blaise O’Donnell and K9 Demo on warrants from the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office and West Deptford.  He was lodged in Camden County Jail.

 

5/2 (9:54 pm) Ptl. Greg Coxe responded to a residence in the 400 block of Powell Street for a reported overdose.  Upon arrival, the (27) year old male resident was found unconscious and not breathing.  Ptl. Coxe administered one dose of Naloxone and the male regained consciousness.  He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

 

5/3 (10:42 am) A traffic stop on Essex Street at N. Brown conducted by Inv. Tim Ryder and DSgt. Carl DePoder resulted in the arrests of the following individuals:  Michael J. Quinn (41), a resident of Brooklawn, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.  Grace M. Laphan (47), a resident of Cornell Avenue, was arrested on a warrant from Camden City and additionally charged with possession of CDS (heroin and crack cocaine).  Quinn was later released and Laphan was later released on bail.

 

5/3 (2:45 pm) Joyce E. Devine (35), a resident of the 300 block of Monmouth Street, was arrested on Burlington Street at Essex Street by Ptl. Shea O’Donnell on a warrant from Camden City.  She was later released on bail.

 

5/3 (7:00 pm) A traffic stop on Essex Street at King conducted by Ptl. George Spingler and Sgt. Ken Iepson resulted in the arrest of Neil J. Collins (41), a resident of the 200 block of Somerset Street.  He was arrested and charged with possession of CDS (heroin) and possession of a hypodermic syringe.  He was later released.

 

5/3 (7:08 pm) Ptl. Blaise O’Donnell and K9 Demo responded to a residence in the unit block of Lane Avenue for a reported overdose.  Upon arrival, the (41) year old male resident was found unconscious and barely breathing.  Ptl. O’Donnell administered one dose of Naloxone and the male regained consciousness.  He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

 

 

In addition, officers made (41) traffic stops, (191) property/business checks and (15) school visits.  Officers made (21) arrests, responded to (19) domestic disputes, impounded (7)
