MBU Theatre Student Keith Taylor of Deptford Travels to Abu Dhabi

STAUNTON, VA (05/01/2018)-- Keith Taylor of Deptford traveled to New York University Abu Dhabi for the Global Shakespeare Student Festival. Joining other students from around the world, they attended workshops, soaked up the country's culture, and performed scenes inspired by the festival theme of Pericles.

Founded in 1842, Mary Baldwin University is a small, coeducational university offering a range of degree programs from bachelor to doctoral. It serves a vibrant student population on its main campus in Staunton, Virginia, at its nearby health sciences campus in Augusta County, online, and through regional advising centers throughout Virginia. All programs are coeducational except the Mary Baldwin College for Women.

 

Sydney McNally of Mount Laurel Inducted Into the Business Honor Society at Scranton

SCRANTON, PA (05/01/2018)-- Sydney McNally of Mount Laurel was among the 53 University of Scranton students inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the business honor society. To be considered for induction, students must rank in the upper seven percent of the junior class, upper 10 percent of the senior class or upper 20 percent of the graduating master's class. The University's chapter of the honor society was established in 1997.

McNally is a junior student pursuing a finance degree at the Jesuit university.

 Michael Silverstein of Medford Receives The Carol E. Hutchinson Memorial Prize

ALLENTOWN, PA (05/01/2018)-- On April 29, 2018, Muhlenberg College held its annual Honors Convocation designed to honor and celebrate leadership and scholarly excellence and achievement. The awards recognize select members of the faculty and student body for their contributions to the College, to their peers and to their disciplines.

Michael Silverstein, Class of 2018, received The Carol E. Hutchinson Memorial Prize. This is awarded to a student contemplating a career in Psychology whose performance most clearly exhibits the inquisitive spirit and devotion to experimental research which was so prominent in Carol Hutchinson.
