11 tall ships arrive at Penn’s Landing this week for Sail Philadelphia presented by Bank of America. To ensure smooth sailing, please note the following important information.

Ticketing Information
Sail Philadelphia uses timed tickets to minimize wait times and maximize fun. Ship Tours begin every half hour, and Sail Away times are staggered. Each guest needs one ticket per ship except for holders of the Early Entry pass, which enables unlimited Ship Tours throughout the day. It is recommended that guests plan their Ship Tour order in advance using the Festival map, and leave an hour between start times in order to tour and walk to the next ship. Guests will be able to purchase additional Ship Tour tickets at the Festival if desired.

Admission to the Independence Seaport Museum is included in all Sail Philadelphia tickets. Admission to National Historic Landmark ships Cruiser Olympia and Submarine Becuna, and Paddle Penn's Landing boat rentals is $8 per person. For the schedule of activities at Independence Seaport Museum and performers at the Festival, refer to the Waterfront Festival page.

The Festival goes on rain or shine. Waterfront Festival and Ship Tour tickets are non-refundable. Sail Away tickets are only refundable in the event that the ship captain cancels the sail due to severe weather.

Getting Here
Parking is very limited at Penn’s Landing. Use of public transportation (including RiverLink Ferry, SEPTA, PATCO, and PHLASH) is encouraged. For additional information visit the Parking & Directions page. Festival entrances are located off Columbus Blvd. at Walnut St., Market St., and at the Chestnut St. entrance (via ramp or stairs). All guests will go through security and bag checks. In order to speed through security, please check the FAQ page for a full list of prohibited items.

Arrive at least 15 minutes early to your Ship Tour or Sail Away Cruise, with tickets in hand – ships cannot delay for late passengers! Please note the Festival entrance locations and ship locations on the Festival map. It is recommended that you use the entrance closest to your ship. The ships themselves are not all handicapped accessible, but the Waterfront Festival and Independence Seaport Museum are fully ADA compliant. We are happy to work with handicapped guests to ensure they have the best Sail Philadelphia experience possible!
