WINSLOW TOWNSHIP NJ (April 20, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)--Winslow Township Police released the following statement on Friday, April 20, 2018, regarding an arrest of a suspect who was allegedly selling illegal marijuana.
So with today being "04/20 Day", which is a date for some people to celebrate marijuana, our narcotics detectives did not want to be left out on this nationwide "holiday". Winslow Twp Police Narcotics Detectives, with the assistance of the Camden County SERT team, executed a search warrant at 829 Wiltseys Mill Rd, in the Hammonton section of Winslow Twp. The search warrant was obtained at the conclusion of an investigation, in which Ralph Depalma was selling marijuana from the residence.
Detectives also executed a search warrant at a storage facility in Hammonton being rented by Depalma. After searching the property and storage unit detectives seized approximately 5lbs of marijuana, 182 THC vape pens, just over 3 ounces of marijuana wax "shatter", and $21,069.00 in U.S. Currency. Depalma faces charges of possession/distribution of marijuana and related charges. For those people that were going to purchase their "04/20" supplies from Depalma, sorry but you will have to make other arrangements. Additionally, on this date, Winslow Twp Police Narcotics Detectives executed a search warrant on a vehicle being operated by Charles Turlington, to conclude an investigation into him selling crack cocaine. During the search, detectives seized 64 baggies of crack cocaine and $197.00 in U.S. Currency. Turlington was charged with possession/distribution of crack cocaine and related charges. #sorrynotsorryforruiningyour04/20
