MOUNT EPHRAIM NJ (April 19, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)--Mount Ephraim Volunteer Firefighters were called out to the 100 unit block of Kings Highway on April 18 at 11:24 PM for wires burning in a tree. While responding the primary wire burnt through and fell to the ground, remaining energized. Due to the wire still being live the firefighters had to wait for PSE&G to secure the power so they could safely extinguish the fire  At this time the cause of the fire is not known. There were no injuries reported. Mount Ephraim Fire Department would like to thank the Haddon Heights Fire and Police departments, Barrington EMS and Mt Ephraim Police Department for the assistance in bringing this incident under control.
