GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP NJ (April 25, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)--Saturday, April 28, 2018, Gloucester Township Police Department will be participating in the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Drug Take Back. The effort to stop the abuse and diversion of prescription drugs begins at home.

If you have expired or unused prescription drugs or any type of medication you can drop it off no questions asked. Stop by the Police Department's Watch Desk Area located at 1261 Chews Landing Road Laurel Springs, NJ 08021 from 10am-2pm this Saturday, April 28th.  

If you cannot stop by on Saturday its okay!! You can visit our drug boxes seven days a week. Our 24 hour a day drug box is located next to our Police Department Watch desk and a second box is located on the municipal side of the building by the operator entrance. 

The drop boxes accept solid pharmaceuticals such as pills, capsules, patches, inhalers, and even pet medications. They cannot accept syringes or liquids.
