Early Morning Fire Displaces Gloucester Township Residents; No Injuries Reported

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP NJ (April 1, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)-Early morning Sunday, April 1, around 2 AM a Gloucester Township resident reported their house was on fire in the area of the 1700 block of Hollywood Avenue. The residents evaluated the home and there were no injuries reported.  Neighbors were also evacuated for safety purposes and allowed to return to their residences after the fire was extinguished.

The following Fire Departments responded to the call: Gloucester Township Fire Districts 81,82, 86, Runnemede, Bellmawr, Somerdale, Cherry Hill Fire Department Rehab, and Gloucester Township EMS. Magnolia and stratford Fire Departments responded to cover the calls for service for the fire departments actively engaged with the fire.

The two residents that are displaced are being assisted by Gloucester Township Police Department and the Chews Landing Fire Marshal.
