Prior to leaving the business, the suspect then pushed the victim causing the injury and exited out of the business in an unknown location. Police K9 and several officers conducted a search of the area and were unable to locate the suspect. The victim received medical attention and was released from a hospital shortly thereafter.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, approximately 5’10” – 6”’0”, thin build, wearing a black ski mask, dark colored zippered hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, possibly armed with a knife.
Due to the proximity of the incident C.W. Lewis Middle School, Gloucester Township Public School and Our Lady of Hope School were placed in a temporary lockout. After approximately 20 minutes the lockout was lifted and normal school activities resumed after it was determined that the school children and staff were not in danger.
