Burlington City Police Asking Public for Help with Identifying Armed Robber of Super Speedy Mart

BURLINGTON CITY, NJ (March 28, 2018)(CNBNewsnet)--On Monday, March 19, 2017, at approximately 2:36 pm, the City of Burlington Police Department was dispatched to the Super Speedy Mart, located on Route 130 for a report of an armed robbery.

During the robbery attempt, the employee was assaulted and stabbed during the altercation. He was transported to Cooper University Medical Center in Camden for life-threatening injuries. He was listed in stable condition and has since been released.

The suspect fled and is believed he left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’8”, medium build. He was wearing all dark clothing wearing a mask.

Detectives have been following up on potential leads and have are able to release the video asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect.
