MAYS LANDING – A Pleasantville man is charged with multiple counts in connection with the sexual assaults of two children, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

Sherron Scott, 32, of Pleasantville, New Jersey was arrested on Friday by members of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, Special Victim’s Unit and Egg Harbor Township Police for sexually assaulting two minor children.

Scott was charged with three Counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault, two Counts of Sexual Assault and two Counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Detectives from the Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim’s Unit arrested Scott after a several month long investigation.

The State has moved to detain Scott. A detention hearing is scheduled for Jan. 31, 2018, before Judge Benjamin Podolonick. The case was investigated by Det. Sgt. William Adamson and is being prosecuted by Senior Assistant Prosecutor Danielle Buckley.
