CAMDEN CITY, NJ The Rowan University/Rutgers - Camden Board of Governors has initiated the demolition of buildings at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Broadway Avenue in downtown Camden to make way for Phase III of the Health Sciences Campus expansion plan. The approximately $800,000 demolition process is expected to be complete by late winter/early spring of 2018. A groundbreaking was held in October for Phase I of the campus, which is a $72 million Joint Health Sciences Center. The Health Sciences Campus is part of a plan to transform the “eds and meds” corridor in the city.
